Bradley I. Meier
Bradley I. Meier is Chairman, President, & Chief Executive Officer of NormanMax. He is considered a thought leader throughout the industry and is truly a pioneer, leading the delivery of innovative parametric solutions for the market for over 10 years.
Bradley has previously served as the Chairman, Chief Executive Officer, and President of Universal Insurance Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: UVE) from November 1990 to February 2013. During his time at Universal Insurance Holdings, he also served as the Chairman, Chief Executive Officer, and President of Universal Property & Casualty Insurance Company, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Universal Insurance Holdings, from April 1997 to February 2013. Under his leadership, Universal Property & Casualty Insurance Company became the largest non-state-owned writer of homeowner’s insurance policies in the State of Florida. In 2013, he co-founded New Paradigm Underwriters, LLC, a leading global parametric solutions specialist.
Bradley received a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.

Stuart Newcombe ACII
Stuart Newcombe ACII serves as Active Underwriter for NormanMax Syndicate 3939. He is a well-known leader in the parametric insurance industry and has been instrumental in the launch of Lloyd’s Syndicate 3939.
Stuart started his Lloyd’s career in 1990 and worked as a personal accident and health underwriter during his early career. He joined the Munich Re Syndicate in 2007 and fulfilled a number of roles before working closely with Lloyd’s through 2019 on the application for what became the first Lloyd’s Syndicate in a Box, Munich Re Innovation Syndicate 1840. He was the Active Underwriter for Syndicate 1840 for its three year operation, with a mandate to write only innovative lines of business. Stuart specialised in parametric insurance, predominantly for natural catastrophe perils including wind, earthquake and flood. He joined NormanMax Syndicate 3939 in January 2024 to become the Active Underwriter of the first exclusively parametric underwriting syndicate at Lloyd’s.
Stuart is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute and holds the designation of Chartered Insurer.

Steve Martindale
Steve Martindale serves as Chief Financial Officer for NormanMax. He is an accomplished executive with 4 decades of insurance industry experience.
Prior to joining NormanMax, Steve developed significant expertise in risk management, finance, investments, financial reporting and analysis, governance, insurance operations, insurance regulation, and reinsurance through serving as CFO for Allied Trust Insurance Company, CFO and Board Director for Heritage Insurance Holdings, Inc., CFO for People’s Trust Insurance Company, Chief Regulatory Officer and Chief Financial Analyst for the Ohio Department of Insurance, Vice President Corporate Governance for ProCentury Corporation, Audit Manager for KPMG, Investment Accounting Manager for Nationwide and Accounting Manager for Motorists Mutual.
Steve is a licensed CPA and a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Ohio Society of CPAs. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Business Administration from Otterbein University in Westerville Ohio.

Judith Haddad
Judith Haddad serves as the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Technology Officer for NormanMax. She is a revered industry leader with expertise in operations, technology and engineering.
In her most recent role, Judith served as President of Focus Technologies, a Peak6 Insurtech company. Prior to that, she held executive roles at Patriot National, Inc., where she successfully helped take the company public on NYSE, and served as President and CEO of Patriot Technology Solutions – a Patriot National subsidiary. Judith also brings invaluable experience from her time working for large insurance carriers, including Hanover Insurance and CGU Insurance – as well as E&S carrier, NYMAGIC (now part of Coaction Global, Inc.). In her role with NormanMax, she ensures the company’s prominence delivering innovation and industry-leading solutions in the parametric insurance industry is unparalleled.
Judith received her MBA from Nova Southeastern University in Florida. She received a B.S. degree from Clark University and certifications in Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security, and Digital Technologies from the MIT Sloan School of Management in Massachusetts.

Mark Groenheide
Mark Groenheide serves as Chief Revenue Officer at NormanMax. He leads the company’s distribution network, focusing on bringing parametric solutions to business and individuals across the globe.
Mark previously served as Vice President for Builders Risk at Zurich Insurance Group, where he specialized in crafting insurance solutions for leading global contractors. Following his time at Zurich, he became Senior Vice President for North American Engineering & Technical Lines at HDI Global Insurance Company. At HDI Global, Mark took part in the creation of a new US surplus lines insurance carrier to support new local business. In 2019, he then became President of CGA Insurance Services where he managed and underwrote more than $90 million in profitable premiums, while creating multiple MGUs to expand the reach of CGA’s offerings.
Mark is a graduate of the College of Charleston in South Carolina.

Daniel Turgel
Daniel Turgel serves as the Chief Underwriting Officer for NormanMax. He leads the underwriting team with vast experience in insurance and technology.
Daniel has spent the last eight years working for multiple startups and reinsurers in the InsurTech and Internet of Things (IoT) industries. He was most recently Vice President of Underwriting at Topsail Reinsurance where he managed a large property and casualty quota share treaty book. Daniel began his reinsurance career at Arch Reinsurance where he held a variety of underwriting roles in the facultative and treaty groups in the United States and abroad. He is well known in the InsurTech community as the Co-Founder of InsurTech Denver, an industry organization dedicated to growing the local Denver insurance and technology communities and connecting them to other national and global InsurTech communities and events.
Daniel holds the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation. He earned an MBA in Insurance from the Wharton School and an MA in International Management from the Lauder School at the University of Pennsylvania as well as a BA in Chinese and Russian Languages and Literatures from The Ohio State University.

Dominic Coyne ACII
Dominic Coyne ACII is Executive Underwriter for NormanMax Syndicate 3939. He has vast experience in the areas of underwriting, parametric insurance, and syndicate operations.
Dominic joined NormanMax after 11 years at Munich Re, mostly spent within the Munich Re Lloyd’s Syndicate in London. Dominic was part of the founding team for the Munich Re Innovation Syndicate, the first Syndicate-in-a-Box at Lloyd’s writing a range of products with a specialism in parametric flood, windstorm and earthquake coverage. Latterly Dominic was Senior Underwriter for Green Solutions at Munich Re, with a focus on renewable energy and climate resilience.
He is a graduate of the University of Durham and holds Chartered Insurer status with the Chartered Insurance Institute.

Crystal Maragh
Crystal Maragh serves in the role of Vice President of Pricing and Product. She is highly skilled in the in the areas of actuarial services, product development and data analytics.
Crystal formerly served as the Director of Actuarial and Risk Analytics at New Paradigm, where she is focused on product and infrastructure development. She was instrumental in the creation and execution of Shake and Pay, earthquake insurance for residential and commercial clients, including the online quoting portal for producers. Prior to joining New Paradigm, Crystal has worked with a variety of Florida domestic insurers as an actuarial analyst skilled in pricing and reserving, product development and implementation, advanced analytics, business intelligence, and data mining. During her career, she has prepared filing exhibits and preformed detailed analysis to meet regulatory requirements of the Florida Office of Insurance Regulation. She has also assisted in the development and implementation of policy management systems, business platforms, pricing and forecasting models, and agency reporting.
Crystal received a B.S. in Actuarial Science from Florida State University.
